The IMA Shared-Space Standard™
At IMA, shared-space safety is not a claim - it is a responsibility. We design for mindful homes where scent is experienced by more than one body: adults, pets, and children alike.
Our Shared-Space Standard™ is grounded in transparency and shapes how we formulate, communicate, and guide responsible use.
The IMA Pet-Considerate Standard™
We select essential oils commonly regarded as appropriate for shared spaces with household pets.
Our paw icon indicates that the essential oils selected are commonly regarded as appropriate for shared spaces with pets when used as directed - not that the product is intended for direct or topical use on animals.
We encourage:
• Appropriate dilution
• Gradual introduction
• Proper ventilation
• Observation of your pet’s behaviour
We recognise that every animal responds differently and encourage mindful monitoring in shared environments.
Complete ingredient disclosure is provided for every blend, supporting informed decision-making in your home.
Our goal is not to eliminate risk entirely, but to approach scent with informed care and responsibility.
